NSFW: “In the Garden” By Rasmus Art
2nd new artist discovered on this blustery morning….this was a breath of fresh air.  With mostly svelte models, this artist still manages to capture expressive models with creativity, as well  as making some wonderfully fulfilling compositions overall.  This image caught my eye (despite being in a dA collection with an inappropriate name — as was one of my nudes also added here).
Despite that the model is quite slender and doesnt have the dramatic curves of these garden paths she is placed in, he made it work with some detailed direction.  I can tell this probably took a few shots to get it right. If you ask me, it was worth it.

NSFW: “Ms. Fortune by LonBlueWolf
1 of 2 new artists I have discovered this morning, this image depicts the very thing I noticed about this relatively new furry/anthro artist — its a bit old school toony.  This kind of thing, I really like and kind of miss amongst the cleaner styles less reminiscent of the “funny animal” roots of our fandom.

Happy Halloween!
One of the eeriest photos I can say is in my own modeling portfolio.

“Binds” by  Mastertouch/ Peter Stanton
This shall be a good inspiration for my rope workshop tonight…So much of the rope work I see can be very clean and does not evoke pain, and then there are works of art like these.  Rope makes all compositons with such a simple body curve pop and let you get lost into the divisions of the canvas’ available space.

“Plug Me In” by  Kacey Miyagami
…Her name is Current, and she’s a small cybernetic felinoid - meant to be a personal assistant, with an artificial intelligence, data storage capacity and audio playback… and probably a few other things. I’ve done redesigns of the character throughout time - at first she had an AC plug at the end of her tail, which was later upgraded to USB, which I’ve kept. Also since her last iteration, I’ve given her SD card slots and a headphone jack. The controls on her forearms are for her own use for adjusting her settings and whatnot.. as they would be too tiny for the user to interface with.
This kind of stuff amuses both the furry and the overall tech geek in me.  Im a bit sick of black light and TRON stuff, as its quite overdone right now. However, this was a relief in a sea of black light  stuff.  Its enough away from cliche  for me, and quite cute.

“Spirit” by Naviretlav
Captivated by this guys work only today, it is a great share.  I have viewed fractal art from afar, so to speak.  It seems like its more trial and error using numbers and trying different numbers to eventually get a result that works good.  Despite that math and art DONT usually go in the same sentence, it essentially is the same thing an artist goes through but in a long term way. :) Mathmatical art of sorts.
Full circle, ne?
Naviretlav is from Poland, having produced a calendar just this year with tons more stuff.  Love it and it almost looks like it was painted rather than calculated.

NSFW: Fire in her eyes! This model’s charisma shows throughout the shoot but is especially captured here.  Blues and reds make for varying shadows across her skin in this foreshortened pose.  You could almost mistake this as a beautiful painting from afar.
Again, I have made many attempts to show restraint at displaying photographic work just of photographers that I have worked with.  The point of “Inspired by Art” is to show a VARIETY of artistic influence, including a varying display of mediums in which artists will produce work from.  However, since this one is not of me, again I make a second exception.  No way you can hide this kind of work from the world!

“Death by Stress” by Alexiuss
This art feature is quite appropriate. Im totally feeling stretched beyond all belief when all I need to do is hang up my supercape for a while and cut my workload down so I am getting some long-awaited projects started or done.
Deep blues and swirly rendering of Death.  Its macabre but a harsh reality.  The composition is dynamic as you follow the slant of the teetering paper stack.  Love the ultimate expression.  Very zombie like in resemblance which matches anyone who becomes a working class drone.  Dont let this be you!

Decided to break the repetition and post something that caught my eye from first load of the deviantart website.  Just random, really.
The shapes drew me into this one. Water bends and creates beautiful art.  Thanks to the artist for capturing such a peaceful rendering.

“Peachcat and Her Wings” by Dreamkepeers
I have a weakness for creatures that are not the type to naturally possess wings.  I also have a thing for expression-filled compositions and scenes.  She looks ready to take something on, in the mid-leap pose, wings out straight behind her.   Her mischievous grin remains as expressive as her depictions of cunning or wonder.
Dreamkeepers is a couple of artists who have a romantic relationship. They make beautiful “music” together.  Liz works her magic, while David shows his creativity in this one with the choice of costume.
